Follow these growing tips to use Down To Earth Dolomite Lime with confidence.

• Have your soil tested regularly to determine its pH level and approximately how much Down To Earth Dolomite Lime to use.
• If your soil pH is … Use this much per 100 square feet …
  • 6.0 3 pounds (6 cups)
  • 5.5 5 pounds (10 cups)
  • 5.0 10 pounds (20 cups)
• Vegetable Gardens and Flower Beds: New gardens – evenly distribute 1 to 1 1/2 pounds per 100 square feet over the soil. Established gardens – test soil pH and apply as needed each season.
• Trees: Established trees – Spread into the soil ½ to 1 pound per 1” of trunk diameter around the base of the tree and out toward to the drip line (the area located under the outer circumference of the tree’s branches). Water thoroughly.
• Lawns: At the beginning and end of the growing season, mix into the soil 2 1/2 to 5 pounds per 100 square feet. Water thoroughly.
