Down To Earth All Natural Potting Soil also contains beneficial microorganisms and mycorrhizal fungi that efficiently break down organic matter (fish bone meal, feather meal, langbeinite, volcanic ash, and kelp meal) into the essential macro- and micro-nutrients plants need to grow and remain healthy. Ready for use right from the bag, Down To Earth All Natural Potting Soil supplies superior nutrition for the average plant for up to 4 weeks. Have your soil tested on a regular basis to determine which nutrients it may lack, its pH level, and how often to fertilize.

How to Use Down To Earth All Natural Potting Soil*

Follow these growing tips to use Down To Earth All Natural Potting Soil with confidence.

  • Add 2 to 3 inches of potting soil to the new pot.
  • After carefully removing the plant from its old pot and untangling any existing roots, position it in the center of the new pot.
  • Add enough soil to cover the roots, making sure you don’t go above the base of the stem.
  • To secure the plant and get rid of any air pockets, lightly tamp the soil down.
  • Water well, making sure any excess water drains out of the bottom of the pot.
