Follow these growing tips to use Kelp Meal 1-0.1-2 with confidence.

• Vegetable Gardens and Flower Beds: Apply and thoroughly mix 1 to 2 pounds per 100 square feet into the top 3″ of new garden soil. Mix 1 to 2 teaspoons with the back fill soil of new transplant holes. Plant and water thoroughly. Side dress established plants with 1 to 2 teaspoons per plant once a month during the growing season.
• Container Gardens: Thoroughly mix 1 to 2 tablespoons per gallon of soil for new plantings, or add 2 1/2 pounds per cubic yard of soil. Established plants require 1 to 2 teaspoons per gallon of soil lightly mixed into the soil. Repeat once a month during the growing season.
• Row Crops: Depending on the potassium needs of a specific crop or how many pounds of actual potassium per acre the soil needs, apply 200 to 400 pounds per acre.
