Follow these growing tips to use Down To Earth Rose & Flower Mix 4-8-4 with confidence.

• Roses and Perennials: New transplants – mix well into the soil 1/2 to 1 cup per transplant hole. Water thoroughly. Established plants – depending on plant size and preferred rate of growth, side dress each plant with 1/4 to 1/2 cup.
• Bulbs: Mix 2 to 4 tablespoons per hole into the soil. Water thoroughly.
• Vegetable Gardens and Flower Beds: New gardens – thoroughly mix into the top 3″ of soil 2 1/2 to 5 pounds per 100 square feet. Water thoroughly. New transplants – mix into the soil 1 to 2 tablespoons per transplant hole. Water thoroughly. Established plants – Depending on plant size and preferred rate of growth, side dress each plant with 2 to 4 tablespoons two times a month during growing season.
• Container Gardens and Houseplants: New plantings – thoroughly mix 2 tablespoons per gallon of soil or add 5 to 10 pounds per cubic yard. Established plants – twice a month during the growing season, lightly mix 1 to 2 tablespoons per gallon into the soil surface.
