How to Use Down To Earth Vegan Mix 3-2-2*

Follow these growing tips to use Down To Earth Vegan Mix 3-2-2 with confidence.

• Vegetable Gardens and Flower Beds: New gardens – thoroughly mix 2 1/2 to 5 pounds per 100 square feet into the top 3″ of soil. New transplants – mix 1 to 2 tablespoons per transplant hole into the soil. Water thoroughly. Established plants – Depending on plant size and preferred rate of growth, side dress each plant with 2 to 4 ounces once a month during growing season.
• Container Gardens: New plantings – thoroughly mix into the soil 2 to 4 tablespoons per gallon of soil or add 10 to 25 pounds per cubic yard. Established plants – Once a month during growing season, lightly mix 2 to 4 tablespoons per gallon into the soil surface.
• Trees: New trees – thoroughly mix 2 to 3 cups into the back fill soil of each transplant hole. Fill the hole and around the new tree with the amended soil. Water thoroughly. Established trees – mix 1 to 2 pounds per 1″ of trunk diameter into the soil surface around the tree base and out to the drip line (the area located under the outer circumference of the tree’s branches).
