• Light : Place your Poinsettia at or near a south, east, or west facing window so that it gets at least five hours of sunlight each day.
• Water: Water thoroughly when the soil feels dry. Be sure the water is able to drain out of the pot. Water-logged soil will damage the plant’s roots.
• Temperature: For longer lasting blooms, keep indoor temperature between 65 and 70 degrees during the day.
• Fertilizer: Do not fertilize while your Poinsettia is blooming and only if you intend to keep the plant after the holidays.
• Caution: Poinsettias are slightly poisonous, so be sure to keep them out of your children’s and pet’s reach.
