Down To Earth Azomite® Powder 0-0-0.2, (pronounced AY-zoe-MITE) is a unique blend of naturally occurring trace minerals found in only one spot in the world – a pristine desert valley in central Utah.

Roughly 30 million years ago, the valley was submerged beneath ocean water and prone to volcanic eruptions. These eruptions deposited mineral-rich volcanic ash into the seabed. When the waters finally receded, the volcanic ash and seabed sediment mixed together to form what is today the Azomite® deposit. How to Use Down To Earth Azomite® Powder 0-0-0.2*

Follow these growing tips to use Down To Earth Azomite® Powder 0-0-0.2 with confidence:

• Vegetable gardens and flower beds: Thoroughly mix 1 to 2 pounds per 10 square feet into the top 3″ of garden soil in the spring or fall.
• Container gardens: Thoroughly mix 2 to 3 tablespoons per gallon of soil for new plantings and 1 tablespoon per gallon into the soil surface of established plants every other month during growing season.
• Lawns: For new lawns, mix 5 pounds per 1,000 square feet into top 3″ of soil before planting grass seeds or adding sod. For established lawns, apply 2 1/2 – 5 lbs per 1,000 square feet three to four times a year and water well.
• Trees: Spread and mix into the soil 1 pound per 2″ of trunk diameter around the base outwards, then water thoroughly.

You may find Down To Earth Azomite® Granulated 0-0-0.2 easier to use on windy days than the powder. Always use a dusk mask when applying fertilizer.
